InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam has appointed Nils Axing (nils.axing@ihg.com) as its general manager; he succeeds Hendrik Bosch, who is retiring after six years with the hotel. Axing was formerly the general manager of the Grand Hôtel InterContinental Stockholm. www.intercontinental.com
